Everyone is different in how, and in how much, they are affected by pain. Like you I find mine lasts all day long, the rougher edges are smoothed with the dullers but basically it's ouch morning, noon and night. Great, innit? DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0

Hi Tinydancer,
I thought you had a problem with your urine there ..............whoops
Before I was put on Enbrel I was stiff on getting out of bed then my pain was better during the morning and afternoon but by the evening my joints were all sore again. They felt worse the more I did. A night's rest always made me feel much better.

I feel very stiff on waking but better once I stretch out. The pain starts in my feet while I'm walking to work, then my hands the more work I do (I'm a housekeeper) and often my knees start when I walk downstairs and my hips usually join in at some point. Things improve a bit once I'm home and can sit for a while.Christine0

I'm with you Tinydancer - Pain all day that never eases
Like DD the pain relief turns the switch down a bit thankfully.

I wake up stiff and very sore most days, some days it can ease off throughout the day and other days it doesn't .. it all depends how Arthur feels lol...xxTracyxx0

Upon waking my joints are stiff and need moving them for a while. By mid day I'm reeady for whatever the day is going to throw at me!0

I don't have RA but even with my OA and Fibro it can all depend on how much I've done, what the weather is like etc as to how bad the pain is.

If l am having a good flare then l will be stiff and in agony on waking whcih improves a bit as l move.
However it never REALLY goes away even on good days.

I need to add to what I said before, After getting my joints moving from being in bed some days I can be alright through the day and sometimes I can't loosen myself up and everymove I make through out the day can be felt through my bones. I look like pingu in slow motion! as my OH says, so kind!
And I can feel like it right through up to bedtime and you never know how your going to feel the next day, Arther playing nasty tricks on you!!0
