    Good luck with the exchange.

We were only saying the other day that if given the choice we would choose country over sea. We moved from house in a countryside location to a bungalow a few hundred yards from the sea, but I am not a beach person.

We like it here and the neighbours are fantastic so can't complain, but in my ideal world we would move out back to the country and take our neighbours with us.

I'm in Brighton, 3 miles inland from the beach ... PEBBLED may i add... i hate the beach but would love to live further inland Ditchling Ringmer areas.. village in the countryside, highlight of my days is watching 'Escape to the country' i even record them and watch them with hubby when we go to bed... sad i know but we know what we want when our lottery numbers come up...

Good news, hope it happens sometime soon for you xx

i love Brighton,we are in kent too, were we are moving to is very rural,in fact its the house we moved out of last year lol,we had been there for 18 years so i think moving to a town must have been a bit of a jolt to my hubby, when i think how i felt when we moved from Reading to rural Kent that was a shock for me

    Hi Liesa

I know those areas well. hubby came from Burgess Hill and I had the pleasure of living in a tiny Sussex village near Haywards Heath when my girls were tiny.

I'd love to go back and the thought growing old in my current house fills me with dread.
