Hello my friends,
Apologies for my absence recently, a nasty ear & chest infection then turned into the flare from hell.
While recovering, my merry band of friends and helpers helped me to achieve my dream of raising money for Arthritis Care.
We decided upon a cake competition, we had so many entries we nearly ran out of table space!
I'm delighted to tell you that we raised £1,200!!!
As well as the cake competition, our primary school P.T.A ran games stalls, dressing up boxes for the little ones and face painting. A friend managed to encourage Paramount and Pinewood studios to donate some goodies, included was a signed by Quentin Tarantino large poster of 'Inglorious B******s' a Ridley Scott signed print of film 'Kingdom of Heaven' and loads of fab dvd's.
I spoke to Joel (fundraising) at Arthritis Care, and told him the happy news im overwhelmed by the love, kindness and generosity people have shown to me in helping Arthritis Care, i couldnt have done it without them.
Its lovely to post about some great news for a change!!
My love to you all X
