More pocket duties please

I am going for an ultrasound of my right forearm as I have a big lump in it - to say I am worried is an understatement. My GP wants me to have it removed as it is causing shooting pains in my arm.

    Sorry about the lump and the pain, but glad you are having a scan so that they can find out what it is and what to do about it.

    Will be thinking of you when you go for the scan.

    thanks guys - what I am cross about is that I mentioned this to both my original GP (not one I saw in may) in December and Rheummy in January and neither did anything about it!!

    Probably just one of the usual arthritic lumps and bumps. Try not to worry about it. I hope all goes well.
    If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.

    Im there for pocketduties! What is the lump?? Ive got a lump on my thigh, doc says its a lipoma, but that the NHS dont remove them anymore! Im going for an ultrasound soon about it too, just to get it checked out. It isn't bothering me too much, but im not doing too much walking at the moment. If i poke it around, it does become quite tender!

    I don't know nor does my GP which is why it's being ultrasounded but either way it's going to be removed since it's causing shooting pains - and playing the clarinet is hard when that happens!!!

    In your pocket too hun....I'm having the same problem with a lump in my foot but when I show said health professionals they always look and say they are not too concerned about it!!! Even though it sends electric shocks into my ankle/foot. Glad you are getting your's sorted hun. Time to be more forceful and get mine sorted too me thinks.
