    Hi Pink
What do you want to volunteer for?
My volunteer work is with the branch that is closest to home
Not that close but its the only one.
I'm an information volunteer there......go to hospitals and keep them stocked up with leaflets, docs and keep them stocked up with magazines.
Run information stalls.....I have got one next week. Where a couple of us are there with leaflets and various bits and pieces and ready to answer questions that the public have.
I'm sure if you go onto the front page of AC and check the links there will be somewhere to volunteer....not sure because i have never looked.
    Love
    Hileena

    Hi Hileena

That sounds good what you do.

I have four voluntary jobs already and am hopefully starting to volunteer at the hospital.

    You are one busy lady!!!!!

I volunteer as a mod for a forum promoting awareness of a certain illness. I also participate in my local church activities as and when able to.

I like the modding as I don't have to leave home, and it doesn't matter what the weather is or if I am in pjs

    Hi Pink
You are busy......looks like I'm getting roped in to do traing for the the Arthritis Pain and the Challenging Arthritis courses that they do

We all had a meeting today with a new Assistant Development Manager for the North of England.
I already do the info volunteer thingy, I'm on the Patients Participation Group at our GP's, on host team in our church {which is a 44 mile return trip} and am going to be doing training for a "buddying system" that AC are starting......thats by phone I think.....so I'm going to have to think seriously about the Challenging Arthritis courses????????

I also own 2 internet groups {forgot about that } on a different site.....nothing to do with arthritis.

    Oh well....we'll see.

    Love
    Hileena
