Today SIL and hubby were over for lunch. Sun came out around 3.00 pm so sat in the garden with third bottle of champers. Walked down the road to show them our allotment, back for a cuppa and homemade cherry cake. Lovely day. Ate and drank far too much.
Over to son and family tomorrow.
Monday over to see my mum who is treating us to lunch at the local pub.

If you can lay down at night knowing in your heart that you made someone's day just a little bit better, you know you had a good day.0 -
Went to my neighbours wedding this afternoon, and should be at the evening do. But, of course good ol arthur has other ideas (you all know where this is going don't you). Never mind, sent the other half with instructions to pass on my apologies and have a drink say hello etc.
At home with my trusty laptop and have just seen a new episode of the Big Bang theory (deep joy). Also have spanking new copy of 'Bring up the bodies' so all in all I'm a happy bunny.
Hope we are all well and that the rain stays away tomorrow, looking forward to the river thingie on the box.0 -

Spent today with my dad. Tomorrow is sister's bbq. Monday, my son has invited me to the village where he lives. He said everyone is sitting out on the green. I'm sure there must be more to it than that. Tuesday, the High Street (about 10 minutes walk away) is being closed off for a huge street party with picnic areas, fun fair, live music, steam boat rides on the river (the river goes all the way round the main part of town), stalls and lots of entertainment. We are all praying for the rain to stay away.Christine0
