codeine 15mg & 30mg

Hi...

Does anyone know if I can "legally" take codeine 15mg & 30mg tablets into Greece and the greek islands...???

I have been hearing different views.... someone told me they are illegal in that country - DON'T want to get arrested for drug smuggling...lol...

Any advice would be helpful...xx

    Travel agent should be able to help you Jean? Maybe worth getting a letter from your gp (I've had to do that in the past) if you anticipate any problems. Enjoy your trip!

    I'm very lucky in that I get to travel abroad a fair bit. I've never had a problem taking Codeine into Greece. What I have always done is keep the detachable part of the prescription from which the actual drug was dispensed.

    The only part of the world which is very particular about Codeine is the U.A.E. - particuarly Dubai. If you are going there (even in transit) you will require a signed letter from the presciber.
