Off to just outside High Wykham on thursday to look ater grandchildren while their mum and dad go up to London for a birthday party and staying overnight,we will be staying till monday,i can still keep an eye on you guys they have a computer that the children use so i can use that. Got to iron and pack tomorrow, took the hem up on ohs new jeans as he came home with the wrong length (man thing again).Only drawback is its about 5 hours on a coach, you can go the london route but that means going on underground to change trains, dont like the underground one bit.Daughter-in -law will pick us up at coach station. Is that the High Wycombe in Buckinghamshire? If so that's where my aunty lives, I know it quite well. I hope you have a good trip and that the children are well-behaved for granny! DD
Have you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben

My brother was stationed at High Wycombe while doing his national service. I expect the place has recovered by now :) I hope you have a lovely time, mig. At least you'll get plenty of exercise

Hi Mig yes it can be a drag on the coach but sometimes you get spare seats and you can spread out a bit. Take care and enjoy the break with the grandkids.
