Just had a letter from hospital, clinic date 14th may letter date 24th may,so i had bloods taken on 14th and taken off the lef the next day as liver count had shot up (does not give count )am waiting to have liver scan and ultrasound on hands and feet.It says i have prominent mtp heads ? which look like they are subluxing ? and mcp heads as well ? It also states that idealy i need to be on anti tnfs ,but i do not meet the guidelines for these so they are going the scan and ultrasound way, whether this will make a difference i dont know.Does anyone know what all these letters stand for and what likelyhood is there are going on anti tnfs by going the scan and ultrasound path.My gp will have a copy of this letter but will not know that i have been taken off the lef again,i have an appointment to see her on tuesday next week.Just when i start to feel calmer they throw something else at me,oh well sods law.Mig

Can't help at all, mig except to say I fully understand your last sentence  . Whatever it means I hope they get things sorted soon and in a hassle-free way. Good luck!

I don't know either mig - I don't often suggest using googbingaskjeeve etc but this might be one way to find out. DD

Now why didnt i think of that, mtp and mcp refer to fingers and toes where they have displaced and you walk on the wrong bits thus causing the pain, orthotic shoes and innersoles are recommended but if it goes too far then operating is the next answer.Mig
