Earlier Appointment

Hi All

Ive been falling over (just call me Mrs Bump) recently and my hip has been hurting me even to the point of going shopping for new summer trousers that my hip hurt too much for me to try on more than 2 pairs of trousers...So had spoken to my GP on phone 2 weeks ago and asked any chance of seeing my consultant sooner as the 6 month wait (am 3months into it) has been dragging for me...Didnt expect much as she said didnt want to upset him and he coudlnt change his mind too much, tiptoe around him in other words...
So well its all happening on holidays - got text from mum and dad, letter from Wigan and appointment on July 9th @9-15am....Only thing is my niece and her husband are coming back from hols and we are picking them up from macnhester airport so dad and I will have to leave ultra early in morning to get there....Dad is great so said he will come with me, he has attended all other appointments with me, cant miss this one...
Fingers crossed guys pocket duties in advance...

    That is good news, I can imagine what your stomach is doing just now, but it is much better then leaving it any longer, you take care, and I really do wish you well with it all, I will have the kettle on for you if you want to pop in. :D

    Well im happy he is taking me seriously and happy my doctor has done what she said she would, i would seem ive got good health professionals on my side!...I know dad will be there too offering never ending support....

    Yes im hoping he is listening to me otherwise he wouldnt have responded or would have but told me to wait the full 6 months...I hope so too would be good to have a date for this operation by the end of 2012...
