I have (to date) three grateful pupils and one very excited mum ('I can use a computer! Wow!' was what she said.) Thank you so much coco (and the Webmanager), I shall be telling more people about this today and tomorrow. DD (who has a very pale blue wash on her screen)

Thank you for letting me know DD im glad it has helped out some of your pupils and the mum, its great to hear the feed back.

i have a pale blue, my daughter has a pinkish tint and son likes grey, its funny how different colours help different people.

i wish your pupils and the mum well and happy computing x

thanks for this cocoa I will definately have a look
I have used tinted perspex rulers for reading from a company up north for years. They are about 3 inch wide, I bought a pack and my kids and their friends have made good use of them, all prefering different colours to help them. I found it reduced eye pain from over reading and stopped tired eyes. The idea of them is to see if they help then go for the specialist test to get specialist colour lenses for glasses to your specific colour tint that helps you best. I didnt do this as its so expensive.

    Such a great idea

    hi teresa

i know the glasses mean, my daughter had them for several years, the colour needed changes over time, she now has normal lenses as after several years treatment the words nl longer jump about the page, she still has probs with words and is being tested for dyslexia now which id be surprised if she didnt have.

give this tint program a go and see what you think, you can adjust the colours and depth to suit and it can be put on of off the screen by holdin ctrl alt and typing the letter i , you do the same thing to return it to the screen so it doesnt matter if more than one person uses the computer. good luck
