Hi Joan
I will try this tonight at the bibles .0 -
Whoever came up with this bit of stupidity has obviously never had OA or fecking RA have they, what they need to do is get some one to hit them really hard on one knee and elbow with a bat then try and do it, that should get the point across.0

Hit them repeatedly mell
Honestly Joan

Right i did try this i was using Henry the hoover i do not recommend it for people with bad balancing or using an upright hoover .If i hoovered like that it would take me all night So i will carry on in the usual way .

Actually I do vacuum with my arm out straight but then I bring the arm back again, don't most people when vacuuming? On Friday's I vacuum 12 flights of stairs and to break the monotony I do stand on one leg and then the other. Mad or what? No replies thanks!
I have done my work-out this morning and earned some monies.

If you really want to keep fit, get someone else to do the vacuuming for you. Then go for a walk and escape all forms of housework wherever possible. In that way you maintain your sanity too0

Crikey Joan! (dachs Joan that is) I cannot stand on one leg for longer than a nano-second so I think I will give this one a miss! AS for keeping one's arm straight well, surely you cannot - the elbow bends as you push out to straight then bends again as you pull it back towards you.
Now, as for the other Joan (Mrs L that is) I wholeheartedly agree! DD (PS It's lovely to have you back)Have you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0
