I can feel your frustration as that all came out in one long burst. I have had no dealings with OH and never will as I am self-employed (I'm pretty good at sorting things out to suit me) but I have read posts on here and the working matters forum where OH have been of use and benefit. Am I right in remembering that you are involved in special needs education? Is there a possibility that you could be moved into a more admin-type role? I am sure things will get settled in time Yorkysue, it's just a matter of living with - and wading through - all the dross and aggro first. Take care. DDHave you got the despatches? Aww Sue you really needed that rant, please dont apologise for it, we are all here to help one another and if listening helps you then I am Happy to do it.
I dont know what is wrong with this country when people like you are willing to carry on working and dont get the help.
Your manager is certainly getting above herself, Im so glad you have been in touch with DIAL.
I do hope you can relax this weekend, and try to have some me time xxxLove

I work as a private tutor for dyslexics and I am fortunate enough to work on a one-to-one basis, which I realise is entirely different to your situation. When I look back on what I used to be able to do I cannot help but grieve (and marvel) but I have been forced to adjust my working life - it is far from easy, especially when one is at the 'mercy' of an employer but I am hope there are ways and means. I suggest at least a week-end full of sulks and 'WHY MEs?' etc, then in time re-group and get your fighting kit assembled. This time could be both the end of something and the beginning of something.
