    I'll give you a clue.

    There's a stream by a river with a hole in the ground where the old man of aron goes around and around!, any clearer Toni!??. think 1980's, he sung on his own there was no full time group with him. He also played the Henley rewind festival a year or so ago.

    Good oner ja ja that's the lyrics from the clue bout what's the first song by him??.
    I love the lyrics of it it's only a pop song but with a statment of a kind. Also there was an interview with him a while back and the lyric about the old man of Aron in a hole in a ground meant absolutely **** all, he said he came up with the words while in a recording studio and was just faffing about, he also said he still gets people telling him they know what the words mean, there's an urban myth that it's a code for something or other but it's really not.

    Thanks i would do some of these myself but some lyrics have swear words in them (from the punk era )keep em coming mellman.
