I'm using the 25mg multi-use vials of Enbrel and accidentally left a couple of them on the counter for about 5 hours today. Anyone know if they are still safe/effective to use?

I take enbrel. They are not safe to use...
You can have them in the refigeration after you have mixed them for 5-6 hours but not on the counter.

If you are not sure then contact the supplier - is it Healthcare at Home? - and ask them. I leave my humira pen out for about 30 minutes before I do it but the enbrel I did straight from the fridge as I had to mix it etc. DD

Thanks everyone. I will contact supplier - Central Homecare I think. Stupidly forgot to put them back after I'd taken one out of the box.
I would have thought, being a powder and saline, they would have a decent shelf life but it seems not.

Was told was ok to put it back in the fridge but to use before 14 days. Sound very odd to me but who am I to argue?

Presumably the last post is by a spammer so:

    1. don't click on the link
    2. ignore any advice given unless you're sure from other sources.
