That's good that Mr F can come with you this time. Of course I shall be there, and I bet, so many others too that he'll need a giant supervac to sweep us all under the carpet. Be strong. It's your life, not his.

    Hi Karen,

Yes, I'll be in your pocket, though I'm not much of a morning person so I'll have a flask of black coffee handy to keep myself and perhaps a few others awake!

Hoping it goes well for you this time,
    Phoebe

morning Everyone , Hope you are all well .

App went very well .Still on preds and meth looks like i will be taking these for another 2 years .Arthur has been caught early for me and she seems to think i could be cured after a few years ?My brother had this problem when he was 18 and has not suffered since .Just worried about the damage which has been caused to one of my toes , will this become a problem in a few years time .But i am very pleased with the outcome as the pain was so bad i could not take it any more .
Anyway i do not know if i had mentioned this , in2010 i had a problem with one of the bones in my toes (the one next to my big toe .I dropped a heavy box on it and after a few months could not stand the pain , went to see dr and they referred me to the hospital as xrays were not showing the what was causing the problem , I was then sent for a bone scan which showed i had a small break , they said it was friebergs disease , i had an operation and have a pin in my foot .
Today the dr says that it was a rhuemy problem ,not friebergs .Thats ok as i do not have any pain its just the other parts of my feet .
So for the moment thats me sorted and have my next visit to hosp in october .So now i have to go back to the doctors for my next lot of Meds.

Thankyou all for your pocket duties , The sun is out at the moment and i hope that you are all pain free today and in good spirits .

That sounds like a very good appointment, Karen. I’m a bit sceptical about the ‘cure’ business but I guess if yours and your brother’s are/were some form of Reactive Arthritis, it might be possible and I very much hope it is.

I don’t understand the bone thing in your foot either but, if it’s not a problem, I’d settle for that any day.

    Onwards and upwards?

    Hi Sticky

Yes i did worry about my foot as they did not mention the rhuemy part untill today ,Miss Sott my surgeon said it was friebergs, but could not tell me about the swelling (arthur)strange i will ask DR john on next visit .On the cure subject i suppose i will have to wait the 2 years and see what happens ,maybe she meant i would not get any of the disfigured joints but able to control the pain (scoff at that )?Mr fowls was upset as he did not know how much pain i was going through and said he will accompany on next visit .He is 9 years younger than me so it makes it difficault for me to be like this ,as he is fit and active but bad for my nerves and the kids nerves and the cats nerves .As long as i can get around i know i will be ok .Thank heavens for good friends on this forum .
