In despair

Excellent news, Tilly, apart from the joints, of course, but one thing at a time. Most things are easier dealt with after a good night’s sleep. If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.

hi Tilliy
I am so very sorry that you had to miss your infusion
but pleased that the doctor gave you a diagnosis and that the tablets you are now taking are making your stomach feel a little better
sending you lots of hugs (((((()))))))
Love Julie PF X
PS I am a bit hit and miss on this forum but you are always at the back of my mind0 -
Hi Tilly ,
im glad your feeling better today its surprising what a good nights sleep can do

Thanks again peeps.
Stomach etc really "ramping up" again so it's back to the docs again this evening. Don't suppose there is anything much to be done but I hope to get some reassurance that "just" keep stuffing myself with ever increasing doses of Oromorph is "ok" and not just masking something which needs investigating further. Apart from sturggling to cope with the pain (and the fact that the higher doses of Oromorph leave me pretty well unable to string a sentence together  ) I really need to get this sorted because I have an all day hospital appt early next week for heart tests which I have already had to postpone once and I really do need to be able to go if I possibly can. Rhetorical question - why does everything have to be so difficult and complicated?
Right, moan over - back to hit the bottle again (Oromorph not wine, more's the pity)
Thanks again all.
Tilly (or should that be "moaning minnie" - sorry) xxx0 -
Brilliant News Tilly.

Tilly that is pants
Extra pants that you have so much important to get through. Grrrr!!!!! Embarrassing when you sound inebriate all the time (without the fun first) isn't it?
My fingers are still crossed for you and Diddicat's paws are too. Tis good really as it makes catching baby Robins harder
Love

Thanks both.
And thanks to Diddicat Toni - and glad to be helping to save the baby robins

Thanks so much everyone for your continued support.
I went back to the GP on Thursday evening because things were really not improving and I was needing to take more, rather than less, of the Oromorph to cope with the stomach pain.
This was my own GP this time and he said what I expected him to say, which is that he is as sure as he can be that the stomach pain is down to the meds and that, because I can't actually stop taking any of them (other than the diclo) - well I could but it would be a very bad idea - there was little to be done other than to keep taking the Oromorph as needed and to try not to eat anything which might aggravate the situation further. He did give me some diet information with suggestions about things to add to my diet or to avoid - many of which I am doing already but there were some new ones for me to try. He said that if I didn't see any improvement in 6-8 weeks to come back and talk to him about medication to try to help. But neither he nor I felt that adding yet more meds to the mix was actually a good plan at the moment. Other than that he said that all I could do was just to keep taking anti-upset stomach meds and laxatives as and when needed and trying to find an acceptable balance day by day.
Oh how I wish there was a magic potion
Thanks again all. Really appreciate it.
