I want to send a big thank you to everyone who sent such kind messages to me recently. It has been a devestating few days. But day by day the pain is easing a little and I need to get back to normality to keep me busy. Thank you Mell for the messages you have been a big help! And to Pink for being there for me these few hard days your texts help me get through the day.
Although the pain is starting to ease my OH & I will have a big hole in our hearts left by Bubba, the kindest, most loving, & Annoying (my OH says!) Beautiful Puss to be a part of our lifes.

They always leave a huge void. I really feel for you and your husband. My own 'baby' is actually a little old man in cat years,I love him dearly and can't imagine life without him but some day I will have to.

One day at a time focus on the good times you had.

This is the time to step back, remember the company, laughs and comfort and to thank him for being a part of your family (mind you, with him being a cat I guess it's more you being a part of his  ). I have learned a great deal about having a pet (and what they mean) thanks to the lovely folk on here - I was never able to have one but I now appreciate just how much they give - and how big a gap they leave. Hi Amanda,

As a fellow animal lover, I empathise with the hole left in your heart by your beloved Bubba. Well done for managing to get through the past few days. This sort of pain takes a while to ease, but the agony of loss tends to give way to a happiness to have been a part of a cherished pet's life, if only for a short time.

    Best wishes,
    Phoebe

    Hi Amanda,

Flower I so wish it was easier to say goodbye and make that horrible decision. We take these things in to our lives and our hearts but I also know your Bubba will still be near you and flower I honestly do know how you feel cus I have one of mine on a stay of for 48 hours hoping for a miracle.

I always think mine go to a meadow.... its a lovely place and well maybe they do.

Leaving you ((((( ))))) and so many hopes that the pain your feeling will soon ease. You know they say the bond never breaks and he wont be far from you. You hang in there flower and sending hopes to you both that it will get easier. Love Cris xx

I hope you feel better soon. I still have our cat's lead (It's a long story!) She died about 10 years ago
