Hi
Wont bore all but waiting for TKR, seeing consultant on 9th July, am 43...Just recently have experienced pain have never had before which is right down front of my whole shin, down to my ankle...Feels like the whole bone is straining and is very painful. Went out for small walk the other day and next door neighbour stopped their car to offer me a lift. Also saw doctor on monday morning and she commented "elaine, you are walking very heavy"....I have travelled at weekend for 5 hours but did it to get up on holidays and didnt experience this pain...
Anyone had this? Comments be welcome...

Hi there....
I've had similar pain's too, mine felt like someone had hammered a nail into the "top of my shin & it felt like the shinbone had split down the middle..."
Obviously it hasn't - I was told it was nerve pain/damage....hugs freesia xxx0 -
So sorry to hear that you are suffering with a new pain. But it needs to be checked out. It is possible that is could be nerve damage, but as I'm no doctor, I could not say for sure.
I suffer nerve damage in my foot. It is very localised, but when it is bad it feels like it has been hit with a sledghammer and getting a reverberating feeling, or an electric shock going through it. This is often the type of symptoms you get associated with nerve damage.
I would suggest seeking advice from your GP if you haven't already done so. ((Hugs))Life is just a ride. Up and down, round and around, thrills and chills, very brightly coloured and very loud. But don't ever be afraid, because it is just a ride.0 -
Hi Fresia
Is that what it could be? Oh well was only at doctors on monday so will wait and see what consultant says on 9th july...
Thanks for your reply

Hi Avrielle
From what you and the other poster has put could be nerve damage, not heard of this but hey arthritis has surprises along the way doesnt it?
At least I have some idea of what it could be....Will ask consultant..

I just hate it when you get a new pain makes you wonder if its another place the artur has hit,it must travel round your body to see if its missed anywhere.(((()))) Migs0
