I took one of the anti biotics earlier, then just before twelve took my lunchtime tablets, paracetamol, lanzoprazole, alverine and peppermint oil.. Not long after I started feeling extremely nauseous...

Many antibios make me feel like that but it's a bit odd if they're the same as you had before.

I always have my stomach protecting med and some water at the side of the bed to get the day off to a good start.

And I always take everything with food, even the stuff that says to take it on an empty stomach. (A nurse once told me it's only because they work better and quicker that way.)

I hope you're feeling a bit better by now, Tony.

    thanks Sticky.
These are new ones, the amoxicillinn last week didn't cut the mustard so now taking
    Doxycycline. Not had these before.
I've just taken the night time dose of sulfa, paracetamol, atorvastatin plus the anti biotic, I'm hoping it's not gonna make me feel as I did earlier. I could really do with it kicking this sinus thing into touch.. Awful headaches with it, and I never have headaches..
My problem is that I don't really eat much, and definitely not at regular intervals.. That's the sulfa.. It's ruined my appetite. Never mind. A few more pounds to go and I'll be my ideal weight lol

Well, I'm glad he's changing the antibios but that’s not good, especially if you’re chucking up the meds designed to make you better.

For me, appetite has beggur all to do with eating when taking meds. A plain biscuit is my staple or even ½ one. I’ve been known to take ½ hour to get it down me but I still wouldn’t attempt meds on a totally empty stomach as it makes all the difference. So be a good boy, do it right and run along now. (OK, you can omit the last bit  )

We tend to forget that the little tablets we munch on a daily basis can pack a punch, we get so used to downing meds without a second thought that sometimes we're taken by surprise. I hope things settle soon - could you miss some of the usual tabs for a couple of days or so just to help your poor tum? I know I'm not a doc but I muck about at times with things if summat's not right. Slap my wrists if you dare! DD

    sticky.. Thanks bossy britches lol
I will attempt the biscuit method, although, I shouldn't have wheat lol.. Bit of a bugger cos I like biscuits..

DD, thank you hun. I've done similar jigerry pokerry with my meds at times. And I'll be along to slap them wists soon.. I ain't scared :?

Bubba, thank you too mi dear. Very kind.

My daughter is going for the new script and to pick the tablets up for me.. I'm hoping that all will be will with these ones. The doctor said it's a shame as the tablets she'd given me are excellent at clearing sinus crap..
    Never mind.
I'm not so bad now, the vommitting has stopped. I feel bloody awful and my stomach feels like it's full of hatred..

well.. I've done my very best to get some sleep, and believe me, I'm utterly exhausted, shattered and knackered in equal parts folks, but can I sleep? Not a chance.
When I hurt my back yesterday morning with the copious vomiting I must have done it good n proper.. I'm in sooooooo much pain with it right now. Doesn't matter what I do or how I lay it's the same... :x :x
And for some bizarre reason known only to the tiny specks of mushy grey matter in mi noggin, I've got that song from Jaws stick in mi head...

SHOW ME THE WAY TO GO HOME... (SNAP SNAP)
I'M TIRED N I WANNA GO TO BED,
I HAD A LITTLE DRINK ABOUT AN HOUR AGO AND IT'S GONE RIGHT TO MY HEAD..
    :o
Don't ask me, I don't know why..

Morning Tony, I hope that you are catching up on the sleep that you were deprived of last night. What a terrible night, you must've had, it's awful when you are so tired and in so much pain that you still can't sleep. :(

I hope that later on today, you start to feel a little better :)

    Love Julie PF X
