Psoriatic Arthritis

Hi I have had an awful bad back for over 20 years and had psoriasis since I was a teenager, the bad back they thought was sacriollic problems and also pain from endometriosis which I had to have a radical total hysterectomy 2 years ago because of cysts and pain. I had an mri and ct scan last month and the results came back as I have a lesion on L3 and abnormalities on t1, t2, t11 and t12 do you think that these are all a symptom of the PA? I had an urgent blood test taken on Friday and my GP has referred me to a rheumatologist because the pain is limiiting my mobility and is basically eating away at me, it keeps me awake at night and prevents me from standing for long, sitting for long or doing very much. My scalp is a mess and so is my ear from the psoriasis. I just would appreciate your input on this. Thanks.

Hi lynbo
Thanks for your posting.
I’m sorry to hear about the pain you are getting in your back and the problems you are having with the psoriasis.
As we are not medically qualified we wouldn’t be able to say if the lesion and abnormalities you have in your spine are related to the PA.
Hopefully the Rheumatologist will be able to give you a clearer picture of what is going on when you see them.
