but mine is full of helpful advice, comments, exasperation and gestures that those who might benefit can neither hear nor see. I know it matters tho as he is sitting in his special sports armchair. Bless. DD

And he's dozed off. I bet if I change the channel he'll wake up. I can hear it now, 'I was watching that!'Have you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0

Mine is just making sausage sarnies and a cup of tea.Mig0

Mine wouldn't have most of them in the team but hasn't suggested who he'd have in their place. If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.

well we did enough to go through and credit to the opposition, they played very well.
The ugliness that is caveman rooney did it, only just.. Over hyped, silly haired fat git..
Is is just me or does Scot Parker belong in the spiffing nineteen forties wotwot.. He looks like an extra from goodnight sweetheart.. Bless him. He didn't mind being smacked in the face with what probably felt like a cannon ball time and time again. I think he's an invincible time traveler myself...Me-Tony

Bah! My man and I both screamed at the linesmen when they played on after Ukraines obvious goal. Clearly went over the line! I even shouted that before the replay! Even Terry had a look of disbelief when the ref did nothing as he kicked the ball back out!
No, no. There is no match fixing in the Euro's at all!
Grrr...Life is just a ride. Up and down, round and around, thrills and chills, very brightly coloured and very loud. But don't ever be afraid, because it is just a ride.0 -
if we're gonna be honest though it would have been disallowed, their player was off side
So much for the United Kingdom spirit :roll:Me-Tony

Not as obvious as the Frank Lampard 'goal' against Germany 2010 but it did cross the line however it was offside.
I'm quite surprised the ref didn't allow it considering the baying crowd so full marks to him.

United Kingdom??
No, no, no.... ENGLAND. Not Scotland, not Wales... Nothing UK about it.
Being Scottish I'm more than happy to see England fall flat on their faces! I don't support the UK either, I'm all for Independance.

not very fair...
How many of us support the spotty faced tennis player?
I would definitely support Scots, if and when they get anywhere in a tournament lol. Sorry, that really was meant in jest
I'm really surprised though.. Do you not like us either?Me-Tony

Ummmm, this was a thread about sport, not politics.
Yet again my manager has slept for much of tonight's game but mind you that's fair enough, it was the Czech Republic versus Portugal and it was dull (but there again is too much footy).
I dunno about you lot but I'm dreading the blanket coverage of the Olympics. Thanks to the golden Cornetto being in my part of the woods in a couple of weeks' time I won't be earning. Whoopee-doo. At least the Euros are providing valuable training for turgid telly. DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0 -
won't be watching the yawnolympics.. Not my cup of tea really.
That cornetto will be around here soon I think. Won't be making a special trip to se it, but if we happen to be in Skeggy when it goes right past the back of mi mum n dad's I'll have a nosey..
Didn't watch the match tonight.. Couldn't be bothered.
Sorry about the mini hijack hun. XMe-Tony

Nah. Superleague tonight. My manager will transform into a ref.If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.

Oh bless! Enjoy - and I know you will. At least it's tennis next week weather permitting, surely they can't play the entire tournament under the roof! DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0
