All day I have tried to get comfy .my shoulders feel like there have a ton weight on them and someone is pushing them down.my elbow is hurting everytime I move it( swelling around the joint not in it) and there's my lower back and buttocks omg.on a good note the swelling around my knuckles has gone down this afternoon( scrub that last sentence as they are going up as i type)can anyone recommend a cushion to sit that would take some pressure off please.having to lay on my side at the moment and that's putting pressure on my hips.but on the plus side when I go for my second assessment and if I pass I am going to say yes please bring it on.decided i dont want to go backwards.

Shoulder and elbow pain is very hard to get away from. I used to improvise a sling as that kept my arm still which helped. Unfortunately you can only do it with one arm at a time
You can buy coccyx cushions to help the lower back. The are basically round cushions with a hole in the middle so that your lower spine isn't compressed.
After that, it's just the paindullers, I'm afraid. If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.

Hi Milly
At the min I am sat with my wheat cushion on my shoulder, the only thing I can recommend for the back and hips is a body pillow,I use it in bed but it might work on the settee, its rotten when you cant get comfy, I do hope you get some relief very soon xLove

Comfy? I remember that but it's been so long . . . . . . All we can do, Milly, is ensure that we are as supported as possible at the various crucial points. In my case that involves a V pillow at my back, a small cushion at the base of my spine and a pillow (placed lengthwise) from knees to ankles. I have yet to solve the problem of the sacro-iliac joints. Nowt touches the fingers, wrists and elbows but let's face it, we can't have everything.
I'm with Sticky, do what you can and 'dull' the rest but I am aware you are searching for better pain relief at the moment. Life is sometimes too tough, yes? DD
Have you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0
