    Thanks for the welcomes......my mam wasnt very good when I arrived but was picking up by the time we left.
    The GP spoke to my brother privately.....she had been given a patch {pain but dont know which one} and she was alergic to it {came out in a rash} and he said to my brother that it could also cause confusion ...she is 89 and mobility isnt great but shes as sharp as a tack normally...when we arrived over she seemed quite slow.....but was much better when we left....so I assume it musthave been the patch.
    7worlds....we had good weather some of the time....thats a bonus :lol:
    Wherabouts are you?
    It was beautiful on Monday when we left the North East, and drove on to he ferry in Scotland, we drove off in Belfast and the heavens had opened. :roll:
    Tues was beautiful and so was Wednesday, Thurs was very drizzly and today...... well didnt really matter since we were travelling most of the day.

    I have had a telephone call from my mam this afternoon.
    Says shes feeling so much better ....which is good.
    The only thing is.....I'm never sure when to believe her when she says "shes fine" :lol:

    Isnt it typical.....I'm just back a few days, rang her at 4.30 for a chat and she was waiting for an ambulance :shock:
    She had warfarin levels taken today and normally they ring her the next day and give her the results. They rang her today and said there was an ambulance coming for her.....her warfarin leves were sky high....that was 4.30.....9pm the ambulance came. My brother has just rung me...10.30pm. Shes still in a wheelchair in the Royal, and the nurses say it could be 4 hours or so before a doc sees her :shock:
    From what I gather its mad since the City closed down.
    I take it i'll hear something from my brother tomorrow...thank goodness he lives close by,,.,,,,(Craigavad)

    Oh Hileena, im sorry to hear that. You must be worried sick. Iknow theres a lack of money, but your right, from the city hospital closed down its been a nightmare. My local hospital is dundonald which isnt much better. I really hope shes seen to quickly.
