Thanks to people here I properly would not have bothered as I thought it would be complicated!
Lovely lady dealt with my enquiry and service was very speedy.
Thing is...why do doctors lie!!
I was read out results of a lumbar x ray years ago and told by the doctors receptionist the x ray said Spondylosis, a doctor I went to see was quite annoyed, said I do not have Spon and asked where I got that from!

The results of the X ray I just got clearly states Spondylosis on it so what was the doctor playing at?!?!

Are doctors lying the norm?

So since 2004 I really have been puzzled as to what was going on.

Just recently I went for an ENT appointment and was told my problem was due to the Spondylosis I have!!!!!!!!!

GGGRRRR very annoyed as I felt a real fool not knowing who had told me the correct thing, receptionist or doctor.

Anyway I also got the dvd of my barium swallow test, it clearly shows the lump in my throat (osteophytes) so am waiting to see my gp to get a referral for a specialist to find out if there is any way of knowing if osteophytes grow quickly, it is already very big!!

Phew! just had to rant a little...hope others are less confused by their doctors.
Best joke I ever read, "With that information and a diagnosis of spondylosis, your doctor can develop a treatment plan‏" or back in reality totally ignore you. Is ok I have a sense of humour and a boxing glove, not defeated yet.

Good for you, PowerOn. I hope they'll be helpful to you. I've been lucky. Always had great doctors.
