thanks everybody. Quick visit.
In recovery room, I can safely say that is the most painful procedure I've every had done..
Took over an hour to zap four nerves.. And boy could I feel them burning them.
Since getting round here I've had 10mg oromorph and 10mg diazapam.
I'm in agony.. Hope it eases soon..

Oh Tony. I am so, so sorry, having had my nerves fiddled about with this morning I can truly empathise but I am well aware that whatever you have been through is a million times worse than what I faced. Can you nick some more moronorph? DD

Thanks everyone.
I'm home. Still in tremendous pain.
About to put a75mg fentanyl patch on. DD, I've a little oromorph left but also a few diazepam.
The love of my life is making me home made potato and leek soup.. God I adore that wummun.

Will try be around later, if not tomorrow.
Gonna be a tough night. Just found out this can last s couple of weeks....

thanks to everyone you posted.
The pain has eased a little since putting a75mcg psych on plus I've just had my diclofenac.
If that fails I've some diazapam too...
I might be ok as long as I don't try to move :shock:

Once again, I thank you all. The support has been a huge help..
Mind you, we could have split the pain :?

Might be back later if I struggle to sleep, tad drowsy so not sure.

I'm sorry if I've missed any pocket duties etc today..

Still rather sore now but extremely glad I put that 75 patch on.

I forgot to say...
He didn't even touch the knees yesterday. He was going to try a new technique he told me about when I saw him in feb/march, however, since then he's tried it on four different patients with zero success.. There was no point in trying it basically.
I asked him if there was anything he could do for them.. He said that there really is nothing else he can do for the knees.. Suggested I go back to the surgeon. Hens really not convinced there is an inflammatory problem with the knees, neither an I really..
The surgeon said he wouldn't touch the knees until the inflammation was under control, as our happens it's not, yet.. I think that was an excuse on his part though to hang on longer before more surgery..
Hope that makes sense ad I'm rather drowsy.

I was disapointed that nothing was done as the knees and spine are the worst things for me. Also rather fed up that there is nowt else the pain clinic can do for the knees.. Bugger :roll:

I'm off back to doped up land now. Will try get back later.. I know there are a few posts I've missed, I'm sorry for that.

Hi Tony,
As you know, I was in your pocket for your treatment while on my hols and thinking about you on the day. I hope that the pain is easing off a bit for you by now and sorry that they couldn't do anything for your knees after all. Hopefully, better luck with the surgeon next time you see him.
