I'm in the middle of packing, we leave for France in a couple of hours. Now I always roll my clothes. I find it prevents creases, and they don't take up too much room. Do you prefer to fold or roll when packing?
See you next week when I get back.
All the best,
Numpty
ps
Please include me in any pocket duties while I'm away. I will come armed with a french stick.y

I'm a roller, too. Every time. Got it from my big bro when he was doing his national service.

I hope you have a lovely time, Numpty, but I'm a bit worried about you coming back with a 'french stick.y' Am I being made redundant? Quelle horreur!
If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.

    Hi Numpty

I have always folded, but a friend swears by rolling. Think I'll give it a go next time I have to pack. And take an iron just in case!

Have a wonderful holiday and I hope you find some sun and warmth.

I'm a folder as I find it easier but I am aware that rolling is the better option. I hope you have a great time and you will be missed. Take care. DD

I'm a folder, never heard of rolling to save creasing. It seems easier to pack when things are already folded in your drawers just to transfer them to the suitcase. Surely rolling is just added work :|

I know it's late so I hope you had a lovely holiday.

Oops, forgot to add. I tried rolling once and everything was even more creased so I'll carry on folding. As Lindalegs said, it's easier to just pick the clothes out of the drawer in to the suitcase and back out in to a drawer.

with t-shirts I just lay them on the bed opened out. Tuck the sleeves in and roll from the top, keeping them nice and tight.. Then lay them along the suitcase.. Simples :D
    Lol
I hate fold lines in mi clothes...

I love fold lines in my clothes because, to me, they look ironed :lol::lol:

I couldn't 'tightly' roll with my hands but I will give it a try on a couple of garments next time I pack a suitcase.
