Bleeding work !!!!

Think my work is going to try and get rid of me .This week alone they took my 3 hr sunday away,then today I went in to be told I'm going home at 2.30pm instead of 5.30... They blamed the weather and didnt need me,
I work on a checkout,pull my weight,just can't walk around shop floor now, just funny how no-one else has had their hours cut ...Thank god I'm in the union,I may need him very soon little rant over

I can well believe this hun. I worked in a Care Home for 14 years and then when I started getting bad they laid some trumped up charges on me and sacked me so I took them to tribunal.

Make sure you let your union rep know now what is happening. Don't let it get you down tho.

this not good but on bright side you got out of the cold and damp hope union sorts it keep list of what and where you might need it later val

I know what it feels like to "feel unsettled" at work..
How long have you worked there..?? and do you have a contract...??

You might have rights, speak to the A/C helpline, they were VERY helpful and put me in touch with a 'free' legal advice helpline, they can give you a brief idea of your legal rights...

Well I'm on holiday till thursday now so see how it goes when I go back thats if all goes well with hospital monday but think I may give my rep a call
