I tried etanercept a few years ago, it didn't suit me but that doesn't mean it won't suit you. Everyone is different in how they react to the meds and you never know, this could be the one for you and I hope it is. I have PsA plus osteo and I am currently on a regime of humira supported by injected meth and sulphasalazine. I wish you well - let us know how you get on with it! Take care. DD

Hi Lisa, I am on entanercept. I have suffered with bad injection site reactions and was switched to another form of injection and also had a couple of infections, but these have cleared up quickly with antibiotics.

I find it is working quite well even though I am only on a half dose (due to infections) and am waiting to see if my rheumy will allow me to continue after last illness. I want to stay on it if I can.
