well am so proud of my oldest son. he took part in the leeds 10k today it was the first time since leaving school he has run and he did it. came in front of his mate as well. he has only been training a few weeks so he has done so well. just wanted to share how proud i am of him it took a lot of guts to give it a go next one will cost us sponcer money lol now he knows he can finnish them bless and he has got his weight down

Good on him Val!, the last time I ran 10K was when I was being chassed by the rozzers, it's suprissing how far adrenalin will take you!. Joking apart I use to love running with Murphy our old dog, the little bugger use to run rings around me, all history now, I can only run in my dreams.0

I think that's two achievements for him, Val - both the fun run and getting his weight down to start off with. And if he's as nice a person as his Mum, that's something else for you to be justly proud of.If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.
