Just can't pull it back

Hi to all,
I joined a few weeks ago and felt really welcomed. RA has taken a turn for the worse so haven't been posting but have browsed a bit here and there. I just can't seem to pull it back like I usually do with rest etc. I am desperately needing to add another drug to the collection but just can't face it until I have moved home because I can't really manage very well living where I am if like I have experienced in the past I get the side effects. My bathroom is upstairs, and I just can't manage to do the stairs at the best of times yet alone if I get sick, upset stomach etc. I thought that was going to be able to move around now but seems is going to be another few weeks. I guess what kept me going was counting the days down. I hate to complain because I know it will eventually happen and from there things should get a bit easier and just maybe the beast will ease up a bit. What makes things worse is that I had expected to move by January so packed etc, still living out of boxes, living and sleeping downstairs in one room, feels like camping! When I feel reasonably okay I kind of forget just how intense the pain can be and how it can drag you down.
Saph x

That’s a lot to contend with sapphire. In your situation I think I’d be ringing the rheumatology helpline to see if I could have a steroid jab to tide me over. Is this an option for you?
If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.

    Hi Saphire
Good advice from SW, things would be a little easer for you if you could get some help now.
I do wish you well with the move, and get on that phone to the rheumy or your GP.xx
    Love

This sounds like great advice, you need something to help

    Oh Saph

Bless you you sound to be really suffering and not knowing which way to turn :( I can totally understand why too. Between a rock and a hard place springs to mind :?

I was going to suggest something similar to Sticky....ring rheumy helpline and see if they can help.

    Love and (((())))
