had rhummy app today even managed with out you all in my pocket but steve came and held my hand.
i admited was still getting swelling and so stiff also shattered all the time he says that could be the meds (great just what i need meds that make me shattered)
he asked some questions said bloods had shown less inflimation last time but will do another test and to make an app with (think she rhummy nurse) as might need to take new meds.
why did they not see what bloods say then make app. but no so got app for 14th aug. will i need it not sure but will know more then got leeflets to read blood booklet so guessing he thinks i will need it .
on a positive side walked up and back as sun out and had loads of time then stopped for a drink val

So, it sounds as if he's thinking of putting you on a DMARD, val. Am I right in thinking you're not currently taking one? (Sorry, the memory don't work no more  ) He'll probably tell the rheumatology nurse what to do before your appointment ie if the bloods look OK do (A) and, if not, do (B). Meds can make us tired but so can the disease and, as you're working, it seems to me it could be either. I'm glad you had Steve with you.If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.

Hi Val,
that sounds like a fairly positive appointment. At least they're trying a different drug for you. If the meth works for you, you might get your life back, or at least some of it!
I truly hope it helps you. You are so supportive of everyone else, you really deserve a break.
All the best,

tony you got that better than me lol i have to look
numpty thanks i am still trying to get my head around it i still feel i am lucky not to be as bad as many others but it does not help stop me getting frustrated when my heads says do it and my body just wont do it grrrrrrrrr valval0 -
Glad things went well for you Val and OH was with you .
I hope the new meds will help you , the fatigue thing is awful i was shattered today , so i layed on the floor at work and read me book0 -
that was a sneaky appointment Val.. Are we too loud for pocket duties
I really hope that the meth helps you hun...
I think the exhaustion is the one thing that frustrates me more than anything. I was used to the pain before the inflammatory arfa joined in as well as the oa but the exhaustion was never as bad as it is now..
Wishing you the very best mi dear... Glad your oh was with you and you managed a nice walk in the sunshine.
