Blue with cold that is! I've put my heating on again today, I just can't get warm. I know we've had bad summers before, but I don't remember one this cold.
It has stopped raining for a while, but the sky here is black and menacing :roll: and the wind with no sun to warm it through, is quite chilly :(
What's it like where you are, and if it's warm, do you want a lodger? :wink:

    we have a mixture of sun rain and cloud ,have not put the heating on though .

    OK it looks like the party's at mine. It's not brilliant but I seem to remember brilliant last occurred shortly before Easter so I won't be holding out for it. I'm inside in shirt sleeves with all doors open. If we take the wine bottle out later I'll probably need a sweatshirt but, hey, these sacrifices sometimes have to be made. I take it yours is a mulled wine then, Numpty? How about you, fowls?

    Right Sticky, I'm just packing. I won't bring my bikini as it doesn't sound that hot, but shorts and cut-offs might get an airing.
    No need to mull the wine, I'll drink it as it comes. :)
    I've got some nice cider which I brought back from France if you fancy it :wink:

    Go steady with the shorts and cut offs. Mr SW's on blood pressure tablets.

    I think laughing's supposed to be good for it. OK, you two can have a mutual laugh -in (He's currently in his tatty gardening gear) while fowls and I get stuck into the booze.

    Its been nice and warm here today...for a change...but its cold enough to put the heating on now....this is unheard of in our household..heating on in July...this has put OHs blood pressure up :roll:

    Mig you're welcome to share the french cider, or is that cidre?
    The sun actually came out here at about 6pm. We ate our dinner outside 8) though we were wearing fleeces. It's blinking cold again now though.

    went to cleethorpes on train today and it was cold tried to rain once, got warmer about 1 but soon started to get cold again came back on 3.20 train. so can i come where sun is getting fed up of cold dark days

    thanks home now but got fire on it not to warm and just threw it down with rain tut tut thanks anything that does not have ice in will do lol
