That sounds painful, mig. I meant the toe, not the language but it sounds as if you also damaged Mr Mig's ear
Collectively we all seem bent on injuring ourselves this week. I think May is currently the toe expert as she's managed to break hers and is also doing the ice and elevation thing.
Numpty might, by now, have replenished her stock of swear words after using up the lot yesterday and I'm usually good for a few.
Now then - rest, ice, elevation and no housework. Send Mr Mig into the kitchen or get a take away. Paindullers and swearing to be used as necessary. (())If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.

It must be something in the air!
Rest, rest and more rest, is the best remedy.
I've an excess of swear words if you need them
Hope you feel better soon,
All the best,

Oh Mig that does sound painful, I dread hitting my toes on anything...or anyone standing on them...I do hope the pain subsides very soon...xxLove

my subsititute swear words (all used at once) are piddle, bugger, damn!
seriously, hope you are ok, take care xx0 -
Just for the record, if young ears are around and we're doing substitute swear words (though I must confess I normally use the unsubstituted variety  ) the favourites in this household come from a local tradesman's van and must all be uttered together - 'gutterings, fascias and soffits'.If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.

Joint seems ok this morning not doing too much.
A favourite with us is "fork an knifes"
One we use when we get in a mess is "mucking fuddle" Mig0 -
I'm glad you're on the mend, mig. And I do like 'mucking fuddle'If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.

I'm pleased you're improving mig. It's a good idea to take it easy though.
I'm afraid even my substitute swear words are unprintable
All the best,

Hi Mig! I'm accident prone according to my OH! I always seem to find the hardest way round to sit somewhere, we have those box foot rests my Dad made them us we have one each. And they are big hard wooden boxes covered in foam then covered in faux leather to match settee. So When I go to sit on settee and rest my legs on them I always seem to smack either my left or right toe! Now I don't have any feeling in my legs from below knee down on both legs so everytime I smack the toes I don't feel a thing all you here is the crack! And me going 'Oops!' And my OH screaming 'bloody Hell!!' It's quite commical! But everywhere else I have some! feeling I say because Saturday afternoon I was assisting sitting on my perching stool making lunch when I went to pick up a knife when I managed to catch my little finger under the work surface and carry on lifting my hand when CRACK! Well there was a yelp! and everything else seemed to happen in slow motion! OH spinned round and shouted 'what the bloody hell' I sat there holding my hand with tears in my eyes then OH took a look It was obviously broken so OH strapped it up. Another one to add to my list of accidents!0

Well I managed to fall into my over-armchair table, followed by stumbling into the back door early on Sunday morning whilst heading for the toilet but that was after a lovely bottle of white wine
I'm really not a drinker, but sister in law and niece were visiting for the weekend and the wine bottle was empty before I knew it

Aah yes Harley, I've had wine bottles like that0
