Weird bruising

Am on Cimzia at the mo and also take amitrip, citalopram and pain killers. In the past week I've had some odd bruises come out. One over my knee which was the size of my knee then two over each ankle. They don't hurt too much just ache and I haven't banged them. The bruises are always over a joint.
Anyone had the same? Anyone know what it is?

I think Val's right, jenzie. Those of us on any of these strong meds for auto-immune stuff should get any unusual bruising checked out because it could mean a blood problem. If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.

Just had a google of Cimzia and the blurb says:-
Avoid activities that may cause bruising or injury. Tell your doctor if you have unusual bruising or bleeding.
Your bruising does indeed sound unusual.

When I took Brufen Retard I bled through my skin. Are you taking any ibuprofen type drugs? I cannot take NSAID. They also make me ick, hope you are ok.0
