Every little ache

Hi everyone, I think I am becoming paranoid since this OA started.
I have woken up this morning with an ache in my left arm, where the elbow join is, but on the inside of the arm, not the elbow itself.
It's really niggly.
My first thought was "oh no, PLEASE not another joint affected"
IS this another area that can be affected by OA ( I assume that logically every joint can be)?
At this rate I'm going to need a full body replacement ...preferably a younger and slimmer one though
I hope everyone is as well as they can be today.

It's not paranoia. It could be OA but, logically, I think the likelihood is that you just 'slept on it funny'. I do it all the time with various bits of me. It's not all that funny  but it is temporary.
As for the 'full body replacement' - I've already put myself down for one. Or was it Mr SW that put me down for one? Definitely a younger and fitter one, anywayIf at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.

Actually ...my brain is going too, it's my RIGHT arm not my left

Ah, my brain went years ago!
Actually, I don't think it makes much difference whether it's right or left elbowIf at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.

When we have arthritis we suddenly become aware of every little twinge and twang. Prior to diagnosis you would probably have shrugged it off as 'just one of those things' but now you can't because it may not be. It can be hard to tell what is what but if it is 'just one of those things' it will ease with time and if it isn't it won't so then you'll know what's what. I hope it eases soon, I really do. DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0

Hi Harley, Your everyday pain the area's where it doesn't go away is the pain you need to consentrate on, the little area's that come and go are just where you have had to work harder to compenstate for not being able to use that joint/area. You just need to keep those area's nice and loose and don't damage them! Don't worry too much about every little pain you feel it's the ones that don't go away, the ones that just carry on and really hurt. I know I don't need to tell you this but I just don't want you to worry on every little pain.0
