Hi All
Well this morning a brown envelope dropped on the doormat and inside was a date for my pre operative assessment at Wrightington Hospital and its for 27th September @11.am...I only went to see the surgeon 2 weeks ago to say I definitely wanted to go on the list for TKR surgery so its all moving quickly! Its actually the day before i go on my only holiday abroad so it really will be a treat beforehand to enjoy....Im actually getting quite calm about it all which to me must mean im ready for the operation, maybe not but im not panicking at all....Also got an appointment for a podiatrist on 9th August so boy am i using up the NHS services to the max huh?
Its good news for me!

Good luck Elaine, I hope it all goes well. It must be strange after waiting all this time, that at last it's near!
I'm available for pocket duties if needed.
All the best,
