is to sit in my garden, and read my kindle, but.
The market gardener on one side of me, has been mowing and strimming and hedge cutting since 9.30 this morning. Now he is running his tractor for no apparent reason.
The neighbours on the other side, appear to have a herd of toddlers over to "play". If it was happy, excited squeals I wouldn't mind, but it's blood curdling, stomach wrenching, squabbling screams. I'm sure I'm being very un-pc, but I don't care! I just want a little peace and quiet.
Please!

Numpty, come and join the gang over on LWA who have all moved into knuckleduster's freezer with some nice white, strawberries and several flavours of ice cream. (Bring a bottle as DD & I are already there.)
If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.

I love my kindle, it's light, easy to hold, and there's no glare from the sun.
I thought I would miss "proper" books, but I don't at all.

Hello Numpty - I'll swap your market gardeners and noisy toddlers for next door's builders if you like cos at least we could each have a change of unbearable noise for a bit  I'm sitting inside stifling with all the doors and windows shut, thinking seriously about whether I can manage to retrieve Mr TT's ear-defenders from the garage

Mind you, Knuckleduster's freezer sounds a pretty good option so I think I'll head over there now instead.
