The phone rang about three minutes ago - I'm in for next Tuesday at 4.10. :shock: I said to my consultant that I could take a cancellation and someone has just cancelled. Cripes. DD

    Be careful what you wish for :o I guess it's good news really. I hope it goes well in whatever shape 'wellness' takes at such appointments. I'll be thinking of you.

    I am fortunate in that I live within a five minute drive of the hospital so I always mention I would be able to take a cancellation. It's paid off on a number of occasions - almost instant MRIs, scans, various appointments with various bods. The house and me don't get on that well nowadays but its location is good so that is a point in its favour. :wink: I am sure all will be well next week.

    Now, this is completely off topic: the BBC news is on at the moment and I gather they have moved to a disused tower block somewhere in East London to 'cover' the Olympics. It sounds like it. Fiona 'Smug with Irritating Eyebrows' Bruce sounds as though she is perched on a thunderbox whilst broadcasting. DD
