Some Mothers Do Have 'em

Last night cooked myself an extra piece of basa (white fish) to have for lunch today. Just been rummaging around the fridge and couldn't find the box with it in. Hubby even knelt on the floor to see if it had slipped to the back, but couldn't find it. I knew then my son had taken it to work and I said to hubby "I bet he thinks it's a piece of chicken". Sent son a text saying "have you got my piece of fish." To which he replied "sorry, thought it was chicken." He had made himself a couple of fish, pickle and tomato sandwiches. Would have loved to have seen his face when he sunk his teeth into his sandwich.

My son said his sandwiches weren't too bad. But anyone who has a large spoonful of crunchy peanut butter in his dish of porridge each morning must have a weird sense of taste anyway.

I love fish sandwiches. Especially 'yellow' fish wrapped in bread covered with loads of butter.
