I've been flamingo spotting!

I've had a grand day by the seaside. I pootled off in Daisycar to the coastal town of Southwold and there I found Julie47pf, seated on the pier with Mr J47pf. We had a lovely lunch together then he and I were greedy and had large ice-cream puddings. :D (Julie was very restrained in only having her chicken salad, that's probably why she's slender and I'm not. :lol: )

It was lovely to meet someone I've been speaking to telephonically for so long and we got on just as well in 'real' life. Mr J was very patient with us as we nattered away about everything under the sun (including a little about arthritis). I've caught the sun but so far no meth rash. :wink:

I loved every moment and we took some piccies too. Hooray! DD

    Ah, the lesser spotted forum flamingo! Definitely worth a visit and I'm so pleased you two got to see each other.

    It was indeed splendid. I loved every moment plus the fact that my skin has gone a wonderful shade of honey-gold - well, the bits that saw the sun that is! Mr DD is quite jealous. :wink:

    Julie is a grand lass - her quiet courage and dignity is (and laways has been) inspiring to yours truly. 'Nuff said. DD

    Hey DD, I was lucky enough to spot the lesser spotted Flamingo on a trip to the coast too.
    Was fantastic meeting her finally and Mr J, yes he is very patient listening to us waffling on. m0717.gif
    Glad you had a great day. I believe the sun has been very kind to her this week, which was a blessing after last. 8)
