Right, I'm weighing in on this (and there's a lot of me). I agree with tjt. There are things that men do and women should not (and vice versa). Men are pretty good at footy, rugby, talking borrox and wolf-whistling. Women can do the talking borrox stuff (and often do) but as for the rest? Nah. The so-called 'football' this afternoon proved that. DD

No wimmin were injured in the making of this post although one poor luv broke a nail and needed to be taken shopping to recover. I believe that's the correct treatment for such an ailment

Now I'm a fanatic footie fan and a girl but I have to say that was not football I saw today, so sorry Tony but you're not too wide of the mark.

What I loved most was the blonde girl who was doing the pundit role with Gabby Logan. Wasn't that hair magnificent?? How much gel and spray must it have taken to get it to stand to attention like that? My daughter, who is quite a useful midfielder herself, said she was a fair player but that hair looked like it would do more damage than an Eric Cantona flying kick.

My son, an armchair footballer, was making sexist remarks all the way through but let's see what the men produce then. I bet it won't amount to much more than the wimmin and we've got the excuse we are girls!! What excuse will they have?

I've heard of this once or twice and I used to think it was literal.
