    Hi Tony, nice picture :!: :!: :D
It feels good to hold one of the Olympic torches, doesn't it? A friend of mine was torch- bearer, so I've held one too. There's something magical about thinking that the Olympic flame burned in them. I was surprised how heavy they are, but what a great souvenir for the torch-bearers!

BTW, which event are you likely to win a gold medal in this year?......Is there a stock car racing event :?:

I'm aiming for gold in the BUMPER cars event
Good job my legs are rubbish, I was tempted to nick it :o
I can't believe that the torch bearers had to pay two hundred quid or whatever it was.. Something most of us couldn't afford.

    Did feel good though

I would have had a shave if I'd have known lol..

Yeah, apparently the torch bearers had to pay but they got to keep the torch.. I also thought that they had been selected as a privilege kind of thing....

    Nice one Tony.

I'd love a pair of torches either side of my fireplace as I think they are a lovely design. I must take a look on ebay :)

BTW did you have to pay to have your photo taken with the torch?

    Elizabeth :D

Great pic, what an Olympian...and what a great sleeve. I started with tattoos by getting one when I'd got through a bad arthritis patch - my indelible reminder that I'd got through something else...had to stop that habit though! My last one commemorated my marriage so a bit nicer than surviving the latest battle :D
