As you guys & girls know I've been suffering with what I thought was a flare up but I'm starting to wonder now! I was very poorly Saturday so much so I couldn't get out of bed most of the day, was feeling sick, hot and generally energy less. I spent 2hrs with my OH all day. So Sunday got up still felt energy less, back ,hips and both legs still very painful but another body part has joined in! I've been having trouble on and off with my hands and wrists and should wear hand and wrists splints but I admit I haven't been using them as much as I should because they make my thumbs get pins and needles!! but my right hand and wrist has now decided it wants to be extremely painful and give way when using it! And I'm right handed! So got to wear the splints more! What else can go wrong now?! And the countdown to my holiday has started 3 weeks to go!!

Sorry to hear this bubbadog, you have been suffering for far too long. I know what it's like when you have problems with your dominant hand, and it's not easy!
Wishing you well, ((((()))))

Sorry to hear about the bad time you're having bubbadog. All you can do at the moment is rest and perhaps you have got a virus too. Have a good holiday and I'm sure the change of scene will do you good.

I'm sorry about all this, bubbadog. I'm also sorry that I can't remember what type of arthritis you have  It sounds like an auto-immune one from your description of flareing so I guess all you can do is ring the rheumatology helpline. It's possible you've just got a bug. They always seem to make stuff worse.
I don't think wrist splints should give you pins and needles. If anything, they should help remove them. Maybe another trip to orthotics to check that yours are still doing the job they're prescribed for? Sometimes bits of us change shape and that alters how stuff works - or doesn't.If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.

I'm afraid my memory has deserted me Bubbadog: I know you have osteoporosis but which kind of arthritis? A flare combined with a virus could cause this kinda thing - is it time for a trip to the docs? (Especially as you are going away soon.) DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0
