Hello everyone,
This is a less than delicious post but I thought I'd share with you! I have a lovely, comfy wrist support made from neoprene. Awfully useful, so much so I wear it loads, particularly when working and despite washes it got very smelly
I spent my saturday night googling surf forums (I'm so cool) and discovered the surfer trick to 'freshen up' neoprene was to soak it in a bit of washing up liquid and warm water for a while. I did, then rinsed and dried, it's been worn all day in a hot office and it still smells of lemons which is an improvement I can tell you!
What does anybody else do?!

Love stinky LV xx

I washed them using tepid water and soap flakes. I couldn't use washing up liquid as I'm detergent-intolerant but I used to spray them with the perfume du jour when going out! DD

Just gentle hand washing ( done by my wonderful hubby as my hands aren't up to it ) and then dried flat . Jillyb

I use Fabreeze as sometimes I cant get mine dry before using at work the next day, I like the Lavender one.
otherwise I wash mine in dreft, so I dont get any irritations from it,

use some of the shampoo you put on your hair for a lovely fresh pleasant smell. just squeeze wash as you would with a woolly jumper washed by hand.

mmmmm Earthspirit - I like that idea - my shampoo smells of coconuts and my flip flops (favourite footwear) are impregnated with the smell of coconuts so I could go around wafting a slightly tropical scent at the rest of the world....there's an idea!
