High count of white blood cells,leukocytter

My doctor called this afternoon. I was there took blood test yesterday.
Is in between switching from enbrel to cimzia. But takes methotrexate ,pain meds and prednisoln. Now he called my and I have to talk to the reuma doctor tomorrow , and I can't start cimziabefore talking to hear . Really don't hope that this high count of whit bloodcelles stop me from start cimzia. Any one have the same experice? Youst been of enbrel four a week.

    I can't help Kathe, I am so sorry. It can take the body a while to adjust between meds and you may not be able to start the cimzia until all is back as it should be. I had three months off everything when enbrel went wrong for me - I sincerely hope this doesn't happen to you. It's good that your doctor rang you, please let us know what your rheumatologist says, yes? Are you at work at the moment or at home? DD

    Yes I'll lett you know after talking to my reuma doctor tomorrow.
    I'm at home ,and still have 3 weeks of, but hope that I can start cimzia before I'm going to work the next time. Because not having a time now when I'm of enbrel.
    Good to know that you have expericed the same changing drugs.

    According to my little blue booklet in which all my blood results are recorded, a high white blood count can be a result of prednisolone or of an infection.

    However, I'm only on meth so it could indicate other things with anti-tnfs. Good luck for tomorrow, kathe.

    Oki,hope to get some answers tommorrow. My doctor was really worried to day,so hope the reuma doctor can help me. I had low blood percent too,so that don't help either. But maybe it is the switch of medicine or the prednisolon. I'll let you now tommrow.

    Yes,heard that on the radio.
    Spoke to my reuma nurse to day. She talk to the reuma doctor and they think the high count is fromm the prednisolon and that I have been a week with out tnf medicin. SO I started cimzia to day.took the first 2 injetions, it hurt when injection them. Feeling a bitt sick now, but hopes it goes over.

    Wow, that seems a quick turnaround to me - I had to wait for at least a month between each anti TNF. Anyway, I hope you feel better soon and that the cimzia starts to help in the near future. Take care, rest as much as you can over the next 24 hours as that may help matters. DD

    Yes, so happy that I coud start to day. Have youst had 1 week of bettween swiching medicine. I'll trie restas mutch as I can. But hopes it gets better because now I have a hard time sleeping and the artherist in high activity.
