My mothers lawnmower hit a brick, bending the blade, making it useless.
The spanner to get the blade off went missing, and because I have arthritis in my fingers and wrists, I couldn't get it to budge one inch.
Anyway, I took it to B & Q in Bury, and a nice chap in the gardening department called Mike, opened a box from a new one, got the spanner, and nearly had a hernia getting the old one off.
After a 10 minute struggle, he even put my new blade on, and gave me a free spacer............ all in his dinner hour..... not bad eh. Alanthemanc

Sometimes you just get a good'un and it reaffirms a lot of things. Sounds like one good turn deserved another too since you took it to B&Q for your Mum.
Hey little fighter, things will get brighter

Alan I am so pleased for you and your Mum too

Maybe you should write to head office and compliment him?

That would make his day :D

    Love

Good service is always appreciated, and it encourages you to return to the store again. It's a shame that more shops don't seem to have grasped that concept.

That was great service. I agree with frog. Write in and tell them. The man's a star.
If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.
