Last time they just told me to resume my normal life. Have had pain for 2 years, have pain from my spine running down my arm, hot patches, tingling, pains in the bones of my neck. I have only ever had one x ray. Am asking my husband. Have a referral for my neck, my shoulder and my arm. I would like an MRI. Not hopeful of anything.

    I know what you mean about not being hopeful about the outcome of an appointment. I hope this one proves you wrong and you are given what you feel you need to show everyone what's going on with you and what you are coping with. Please let us know what happened, yes? DD

    The doctor I saw was very nice and has referred me to the pain clinic (should be already on list) and for an MRI. He also spoke in more depth about my x ray.

    Hi,

    I'm glad you had a good appointment the build up is enough to put people over the stress barrier but when someone listens the relief is a good feeling.
    Hope you get the results you need to give you some peace of mind.
