I hope it's a good one and that your knees play their part in making it so. Have a great day.

:D Wishing you a very happy birthday Helen. Have a great day. The weather is beautiful to help your day go with an extra swing. :D

The happiest people don't have the best of everything. They just make the best of everything.

If you can lay down at night knowing in your heart that you made someone's day just a little bit better, you know you had a good day.

Thank you, nice people. What a lovely surprise, finding this thread!

I got up late, ate some of my birthday chocolates (birthday chocolates are calorie free, of course), supervised David digging up the rest of the potatoes (I held the bucket!). Then this evening we're going to an open air production of The Importance of Being Earnest. I'm amazed that (a) the weather looks like being kind, and (b) my knees have recovered enough to cope with a walk over relatively uneven ground to where the performance is being held. We'd expected to have to cancel. Then out for a meal if I have the energy left.

    I'll report back later...

I hope you are enjoying your day - birthday bubbly wine is also calorie-free! DD

Thank you everyone. Had a lovely evening, though marred somewhat by unforecast heavy rain, which meant we got soaked to the skin and had to walk to the car through what felt like practically a river! That's British summers for you. Not recommended for my knees, but they survived. Now off for yet another early night...I think I'll win the prize for hours slept recently.

Helen please accept my belated birthday wishes to both of your knees. :D

I can't really say that can I because they are only a few weeks old, its the rest of you that can celebrate.

    many happy returns.

    Steve (one knee) :)
