Well folks i havent been on in a while an as people i have spoke to on here i have severe TMJ and require surgery to replace the jaw joint etc.

I decided a few weeks ago that i was sick of being on tramadol which was making me drowsy and sluggish, lacking in energy due to lack of nourishment and left unable to work as i am a driver amd only 29yrs old.

I booked one session of hypnotherapy after being intrigued of mind of matter and being able to heal the body without pain relief, although sceptical i thought it has to be worth a try. It doesnt work for everyone mind but worth a shot.

I had it on monday the 6th of august and wow, i have seen results straight away, i have had no pain relief what so ever, i can open my mouth and eat again. I have a shift at work to see how i get on and feel great. I have energy, more awake than i have in nearly 1yr :)

Anyone who is thinking about this has to give it a shot as long as you continue after the session at home with the cd you get and also go in with an openmind i believe it will work for alot of people :)

That's amazing, catrocks. I hope it continues to work well for you. Mind over matter is one of those strange imponderables but it has to be better than being doped up on pain relief. Please keep us informed.

That is brilliant, I am a big believer in mind over matter....they are hypnotising people into thinking they have had gastric band fitted, I was reading what one lady said about it..it was fascinating..
I do wish you well with it all and long may it continue x
    Love

:) Im over the moon about how well its worked, still no painkillers almost 2weeks without! i feel amazing have energy, can eat, not drinking through a straw anymore. Sounds silly to some people but trust me it has been a burden on my life.

My hypnotherapist has had success with the gastric band, but im her biggest achievement to date, i went to see her yesterday and already she can see that my weight has gone up and im not so pale an lethargic, its amazing the transfomation.

I had two shifts at work this week to see how i would get on and have had success now been offered a five yr contract self employed with the company i used to work for :D im over the moon.

Please people try it for pain as long as you are hopeful that it will work i think it will :)

That's fantastic. I'm so pleased for you. I have possible RA in my jaw and it's rotten. I tried hypno a while ago and it did nothing for me but the woman was off her rocker. She managed to convince me I was cursed in a previous life! I do believe in hynotherapy but my bad experience has put me off especially as this person came highly recommended.

OMG they are not supposed to do that!
I was sceptical but thought it had to be worth a shot as it was taking over my life.

I have it very severe and im almost at 3 weeks without painkillers! can eat, open my mouth and i just got back to work.

My jaw is completely riddled with oesteoarthritis, degenerative joint disease and needs a full replacement.

I feeel great and would recommend hypno to anyone :) dont let that experience put u off :) xxx
